As you step inside, you’re welcomed by a spacious living room that invites you to unwind and reconnect. The well-equipped open-plan kitchen features contemporary amenities, including a refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, microwave, and electric stove, making it a joy for any home chef to prepare delicious meals. The cozy atmosphere is enhanced by the underfloor heating and a lovely fireplace that create a warm and inviting environment, perfect for winter evenings. Niskala boasts a thoughtfully designed bedroom with a bunk bed, and a charming loft area with a double bed, along with a comfortable sofa bed and two pull-out chairs in the living room, ensuring ample sleeping space for everyone.

The separate sauna building adds an extra touch of luxury, heated by a traditional wood-burning stove and featuring its own charming gathering area complete with a sofa bed. Wooden steps lead you from the sauna’s terrace down to a secluded dock and an enchanting wooden hot tub, which has become a favorite among guests—especially children. The hot tub, stylishly upgraded with a plastic interior and large chimney, offers a picturesque spot to unwind as the gurgling stream flows nearby, with easy filling from the pure waters of the river.

Just a short stroll from the cottage, the pristine Kaitajärvi beach awaits, only 200 meters away, offering swimming opportunities in a welcoming ambiance. Guests can enjoy a rowboat conveniently stationed at the beach, along with life jackets available for use. Within the property, you’ll find a three-burner gas grill nestled in a barbecue hut, perfect for enjoying delightful outdoor meals under the vast Finnish sky.

Niskala is designed not just for comfort but also for convenience, featuring a washing machine and additional amenities such as a television and DVD player in both the main cottage and the sauna. Firewood is readily available from the shed located between the cottage and the sauna, ensuring that all comforts are at your fingertips during your stay.
