Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and lush forest, Honkalahti offers an ideal setting for leisure and adventure, whether you’re looking to unwind by the water or explore the great outdoors.

This modern, five-star holiday haven, built from warm timber in 2011, spans an impressive 94m², providing ample space for 6 to 8 guests. The comfortable open-plan design features a cozy living area with a well-equipped kitchen, perfect for family meals and gatherings. With three inviting bedrooms, there’s plenty of room for everyone to relax and rejuvenate after a day of fun and exploration. The cottage also boasts a wood-heated sauna, a much-loved feature where you can unwind in warmth, along with a shower room and a stylish entryway equipped with floor heating. 

Step outside to your private 21m² terrace that beckons for morning coffee or evening sunsets. The tranquil atmosphere extends into the surrounding nature, where you can stroll just 30 meters down a charming wooden pathway to a child-friendly sandy beach. Here, laughter and joy come alive as children frolic in the sand, building castles and swimming in the gentle lake waters. Each cottage also includes its own boat for fishing or leisurely paddling, and a dartboard invites friendly competition amongst guests. 

For families, we’ve thought of everything—each cottage features swings and a sandbox filled with toys, ensuring that younger guests are entertained. If you’re into berry picking or mushroom foraging, the lush forest starts right at your doorstep, offering plentiful opportunities to connect with nature. And for those rainy days, you can cozy up inside with all modern amenities, including WiFi, a dishwasher, and a washing machine, so you can keep everything comfortable and convenient during your stay.

Since 2000, we have proudly welcomed guests to our cottages, now enjoyed by families across generations. Our farm grows delicious organic strawberries, adding a sweet touch to your visit with fresh, seasonal delights readily available. With a nearby neighbor 100 meters away and no visual disturbances, you can feel the serene seclusion of Honkalahti.
