Featuring a cozy, spacious living area complemented by a warming fireplace, two comfortable bedrooms with double beds, and a bright kitchen equipped with essential amenities, including a wood-burning stove, Iso-Auninen expertly blends rustic charm with modern convenience.

The cottage offers a unique experience with its 230 V solar power system, providing electricity for lights, a water pump, and appliances such as a coffee maker and television. While the electricity may not support laptop use, guests can conveniently recharge their devices on-site. Enjoy the comfort of running water (not drinkable) and hot water, which is generated by heating the sauna stove. To ease your stay, fresh drinking water will be provided upon arrival. The separate cooking shelter outside features a gas grill and cooking surface, perfect for those warm summer evenings spent dining al fresco.

Step outside and be captivated by the nature that surrounds you. The cottage boasts a private sandy beach ideal for children, a small sauna by the lakeshore with a changing room, and a heated hot tub to soak in as you watch the stars light up the night sky. A well-maintained dock, updated in 2015, extends into the lake, inviting guests to enjoy leisurely days filled with fishing or boating. With a rowboat available for your adventures and various life jackets provided, your days can be as active as you choose, with ample opportunities for swimming, hiking, berry-picking, and mushroom foraging in the surrounding peaceful woodlands.

The location is incredibly serene, with only one other cottage nearby, allowing for a truly immersive nature retreat. Both bedrooms accommodate couples comfortably, while the expansive living area features two fold-out sofas for extra guests. If you’re traveling with little ones, a crib is supplied in one of the bedrooms for their safety and comfort. With amenities like an outdoor toilet and firewood conveniently provided, the cottage is well-equipped so that you can unwind and rejuvenate amidst stunning natural beauty. Please note that the cottage will not be available for rent during the summer of 2025 due to the construction of a new lakeside sauna, so plan your visit well in advance to ensure you secure your stay at this enchanting lakeside retreat.
