Constructed from handcrafted logs in 1977 and lovingly renovated in 2009, Kesähonka spans 42.5 square meters, exuding rustic elegance with modern comforts. With sleeping arrangements for up to five guests, the cottage features a welcoming living area with a fireplace, a functional kitchenette, a cozy bedroom, and a changing room that leads to a soothing wood-heated sauna, complete with a hot water reservoir. Step outside to enjoy the fresh air on the charming 9-square-meter terrace, or indulge in alfresco dining on the additional 17-square-meter patio, which boasts a charming brick barbecue grill – perfect for evening meals under the stars.

Families will find ample excitement with amenities tailored for children, including a swing set and sandbox filled with toys for imaginative play. The soft, sandy bottom of Juolasvesi, just 15 meters from your doorstep, offers a safe and inviting beach for leisurely days in the sun, and a lovely path paved with natural stones guides you to the water’s edge.

Surrounded by lush, ancient pine forests, Kesähonka is an ideal haven for nature lovers. Directly from the cottage, you can embark on adventures in berry picking and mushroom foraging, relishing the area’s rich natural offerings. All cottages come equipped with a private boat, allowing you to explore the lake at your leisure—whether it’s for fishing, a relaxing row, or perhaps a friendly game of darts as you savor each moment with loved ones.

Since 2000, our family-run operation has welcomed guests into the warmth of these cottages, now enjoyed by a second generation of visitors seeking a slice of paradise. In addition to the beautiful accommodations, our farm also nurtures delicious organic strawberries, inviting you to indulge in the sweet flavors of summer right from the source.
