Whether you want to cozy up next to a crackling fireplace during the winter months or enjoy the long summer days by the pristine shores of Suolajärvi, our cottages provide the perfect backdrop for a restful getaway.

Our delightful cottage boasts ample space for up to 10 guests, with cozy accommodations designed to meet all your relaxation needs. It features two well-appointed bedrooms, a loft, and a charming attic room, ensuring everyone has their own comfortable space. Each bedroom contains two separate beds, while the loft accommodates four additional sleepers, making it an excellent arrangement for large groups. For extra convenience, a supplementary bed can be provided upon request, and we can arrange for travel cots and high chairs if needed.

The fully equipped kitchen caters to all your culinary desires, featuring modern appliances such as a coffee maker, toaster, kettle, mixer, dishwasher, refrigerator-freezer, microwave, stove, and oven, as well as diningware for up to 12 people. Stay connected with high-speed WiFi, perfect for remote work or sharing your vacation highlights with friends. Our cottage also includes two toilets, a shower, and a soothing electric sauna to wash away your cares after a day of adventure. With floor heating throughout the space and a laundry room equipped with a washing machine and drying cabinet, you’ll feel right at home.

Step outside onto the spacious terrace, which offers a gas grill for delightful barbecues and a comfortable dining area to enjoy meals under the stars. For some special relaxation, head to our private lakeside sauna, complete with a welcoming lounge area and shower facilities, where you can celebrate memorable occasions or simply soak in the soothing warmth of the wood-heated sauna. Clean paths lead from the sauna to the dock, allowing you to enjoy the picturesque views of the lake as you wander barefoot along the wooden walkways.

For the fishing enthusiasts in your group, Suolajärvi and nearby waters are known for their rich fish populations. The rental includes a rowing boat and life jackets, and if you have your own small outboard motor, feel free to bring it along. A boat launching site is conveniently located nearby, making it easy to set out on your aquatic adventures.

We are also pet-friendly at the Huvila Oravasalmi, welcoming your furry companions to join the fun—just let us know when you make your reservation. Please remember that our other cabins are allergy-friendly. Your cabin will be ready for your arrival at 4 PM on the check-in day, and we kindly ask that you depart by 12 PM on your leaving day, unless otherwise arranged.
