Located just 30 kilometers from the vibrant town of Kuusamo, this traditional Finnish log cabin offers breathtaking views over the water, revealing the stunning landscapes of Konttainen, Valtavaara, and Ruka. The area boasts excellent access to various outdoor adventures, making it an ideal getaway for families and couples seeking both relaxation and activity throughout the year.

As you enter Riekonkieppi, you’ll find a cozy yet modern space that accommodates up to five guests. The cottage features one comfortable bedroom on the ground floor with a double bed, while the spacious loft above provides additional sleeping arrangements, including another double bed, a single bed, and the option for an extra mattress if needed. The loft’s height ensures that it can comfortably serve as an adult sleeping area as well. 

A short walk down to the lake reveals a pristine, sandy beach, ideal for family fun and safe swimming. The water is clear and gradually deepens, providing a fantastic spot for both children and adults to enjoy the summer sun. For those chilly winter nights or relaxing summer evenings, step outside to your very own wood-heated Kiramin comfort hot tub. This hygienic and efficient hot tub allows for a quick warm-up, enabling you to soak under the starry sky in winter or enjoy the never-setting sun in summer. After a refreshing dip, unwind further in the warm and inviting ambiance of the wood-heated sauna, a perfect blend of relaxation and rejuvenation.

Riekonkieppi is surrounded by delightful outdoor amenities. The charming kota located on the property is equipped with a smoking box and cast-iron pan, making it an excellent spot for grilling and enjoying a cozy fire. In the summer months, explore the lake with the complimentary rowing boat, or relax in a hammock by the shore. Children will love the large trampoline, while the fire pit offers a perfect setting for evening gatherings. The cottage also welcomes pets, ensuring that your furry friends can join in on the fun—just let us know in advance. 

During the winter, the fun continues with snowshoes and telescopic poles provided for your use, as well as a sled and other winter gear to make the most of the pristine snowy landscapes. For your convenience, a Wallbox electric car charging station is available on-site, allowing you to charge your vehicle during your stay.
