This modern, semi-detached cottage comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests, making it the perfect getaway for families and couples year-round. Here, you can unwind in breathtaking natural surroundings while embracing the leisure and excitement that the region has to offer. 

Set in the tranquil Salmenhovi holiday area, Villa Jalosalmi is bordered by serene forests, providing a peaceful atmosphere that invites relaxation. Adjacent to the property, you’ll find a cozy grill cabin for communal use, where you can gather with friends or family to enjoy a delightful evening by the fire. The cottage boasts 4 well-appointed bedrooms spread across two levels, ensuring ample space and privacy for all guests. 

The ground floor features two inviting bedrooms, a spacious open-plan living room and kitchen, a modern bathroom, and a newly renovated sauna area, equipped with a Narvin electric sauna heater for a truly refreshing experience. Upstairs, you’ll discover two more bedrooms—one open to the hallway for a light-filled ambiance and the other a private sanctuary for those seeking solitude. A generous second toilet is conveniently located between these upstairs bedrooms, creating an ideal setup for families or groups. While the upstairs areas are mostly cozy, with a ceiling height of about 160 centimeters, they exude a warm and homey feeling.

The kitchen is tastefully designed and well-equipped, featuring a large dining table that comfortably seats your whole party. The kitchen appliances, including the stove and oven, were brand new as of summer 2023, allowing you the opportunity to prepare sumptuous meals during your stay. 

Additional conveniences include an outdoor storage area for your sports equipment and a drying cabinet, washing machine, and dryer within the cottage for hassle-free maintenance of your gear and clothing. The spacious entryway thoughtfully accommodates the footwear and outdoor clothing of larger groups, ensuring a tidy living space. 

With a charming lightweight fireplace in the living room, evenings spent indoors become magical as the flames flicker and dance. Furthermore, the air conditioning unit helps maintain fresh and pleasant indoor air even during the warm summer months. 

For those traveling with furry companions, well-behaved dogs are welcome, subject to prior notification, while cats are unfortunately not permitted. 

Adventure awaits just moments outside Villa Jalosalmi, with ski trails from the Ruka network starting nearby, including the Alakylä trail just 100 meters from your door and the Ruka Winter Lake lifts within a 2.5-kilometer drive. If you are looking for even more space, the neighboring Villa Loimukettu offers additional accommodations for larger groups.
